along with your other growing adventures from your very first session with me (engagement),
then celebrating your big wedding day, to starting a family! You will become a lifetime client
that will receive VIP treatment which will let me be able to capture every big milestone in between.
NOW it's time to start planning for your WEDDING! First off, Congratulations and YAY, you're here! I understand that every couple is unique in their own special way and that's exactly how I will capture your perfect day. I want it to reflect YOU as a couple. Let's make this day perfect together! I will be your emergency go-to kit, your confidant, your hair fixer, your HYPE woman, your collar straightener, the girl that keeps it real with you, your tissue handler, your coordinator to make sure everything goes smoothly, your shoulder to cry on, your photographer and most importantly, YOUR FRIEND! Let's have some fun!

You're in the right place if you want a photographer who wants to establish a connection with you and makes it seem like they've known you forever, The more you tell me and let me in, the more we can create beautiful art together so it feels like more than just a photo session. I want you to remember how it FELT. I'm here for the couples who have that natural love that goes so deep, nothing else matters. I'm for the couples who appreciate the real and raw moments vs. the staged and fake ones. I want each photo to bring you right back to all of those rushing feelings and evoke those emotions and heart flutters all over again. Your wedding day should feel unscripted so you can actually be present and enjoy your day instead of feeling rushed and anxious. I want to allow you space so you can be entirely yourselves.

The time in between your engagement session and your wedding day includes me helping with your timeline, vendor recommendations and one more meeting before your wedding date! I will be available via email or text/call with any questions leading up to your big day! I want this process to be seamless for you and I'm here to help as much as you need!
03. wedding day
Once you officially hire Sonja Burton Photography, I'll send over your custom proposal. I do require a $500 retaining fee to save your date. Once that's paid, we can schedule your engagement session!

After you've inquired through the website's contact form, you'll receive an email from me in 24-48 hours with a little more information regarding your wedding date, along with a link for our first video chat! This is where we will go more into depth about your wedding experience.

Sonja Burton Wedding Experience Investment...
Your photos are delivered to you via an online gallery, and then you can share that link with any friends or family members you'd like. Everyone who has the link is able to download high-resolution photos (included) and purchase professional, high-quality prints directly from the website. If you order an album, I will design the album, send to you for feedback and approval before it's mailed to you!
How will I receive my photos?
I do travel! I've been all over Wisconsin and even across the country to AZ! I'd love to do more traveling as well, so if you're looking to take me with you, just inquire below to get the process started! Each travel destination wedding is different and customizable, so none are the same!

Let’s be honest, everyone says they feel awkward in front of a camera when they first book with me! But I PROMISE, once we get started you won’t feel that way anymore. My approach is to just let loose and have FUN! I will always coach and prompt you into poses that will feel natural, authentic, and comfortable enough to let your guard down. In fact, when it’s all over you’ll actually be surprised with how much fun you had! (That goes for your fiancé, too!)

I'd like to describe my style as being true to color, classic with a hint of candid and a pop of warmth to give you those cozy vibes. Your photos should look and reflect what it was like in real life, and that's always my goal. I want you to remember the feel and the colors how you experienced them on your wedding day.
